A-1 Pizza in Pincher Creek Ordered Closed after Alberta Health Services Inspection

The notice of closure was issued February 1st after an inspector noted the "facility is maintained in a grossly unsanitary condition."

A1 Pizza in Pincher Creek has been shut down by Alberta Health Services after a failed inspection earlier this month. The notice of closure was issued February 1st after an inspector noted the "facility is maintained in a grossly unsanitary condition."  In the report, the inspector states food was held in a pizza preparation cooler for an extended period of time at improper temperatures making the food unfit for human consumption. The report also states a chest freezer was found in disrepair and filled with garbage while shelving in the dry storage area and walk-in cooler were described as "very dirty" and also in a state of disrepair. A1 Pizza in Pincher Creek has been ordered closed until a number of conditions are met and approved by Alberta Health Services.
