Anti-Bullying Conference Taking Place at University of Lethbridge

Bullying and cyber-bullying will be getting attention at a special student conference at the U of L.

An anti-bullying conference takes place next week at the University of Lethbridge. The event will hear from the founder of a premier bullying website and an expert in cyber-bullying. U of L Education Professor Dr. Robin Bright says cyber-bullying is an issue that continues to affect children across the country. She says sometimes the bullying can be very inflammatory, when someone says very mean things to another person or it can be things said about a person on-line without their knowledge. The conference is organized by students, for students and has been an annual affair for the past 7 years. The conference goes October 6th, 7th, and 8th. The sessions which run in the Student's Union Ballrooms are ALL open to the public. - Tom Roulston
