Blood Tribe Police Respond to Abnormally High Amount of Overdoses

A high number of overdoses prompting Blood Tribe Police to issue a warning to drug users in southern Alberta.

In just the last 48 hours, police on the Blood Reserve have responded to seven overdoses. One of those was fatal.
 
Police say that many overdoses is abnormally high.
 
A similar warning was issued in November when the deadly drug carfentanil was blamed for 22 overdoses in the span of 48 hours.
