UPDATE: Boil Water Order Issued for Shaughnessy

Lethbridge County says a water main break in the hamlet prompted the order by Alberta Health Services.

UPDATE: Boil Water Order for Shaughnessy has been rescinded. Alberta Health Services lifted the order Tuesday, January 30th after getting water test results. Residents & water users had been under the Boil Water Order since Friday when a major water main break caused a loss in pressure in the system.
 
 
A Boil Water Order has been issued for the community of Shaughnessy. Alberta Health Services says a water main break in the hamlet prompted the order which will remain in effect until further notice. Residents and those using water in Shaughnessy are asked to bring water to a rolling boil for at least one minute before it's safe for household consumption.
