Saskatchewan Prosecutors Will Not Appeal Boushie Verdict

Senior Crown Prosecutors says the law doesn't allow for an appeal as there were no errors of law

Saskatchewan Senior Crown Prosecutor, Anthony Gerein addressed media in Regina Wednesday afternoon saying that the Crown will NOT seek an appeal the verdict against Gerald Stanley.  Gerein says the law doesn't allow for an appeal as there were no errors of law. Gerein stated that it is important for the justice system to be as transparent as possilbe and for Canadian not to be discouraged by the justice system. Gerald Stanley had been found NOT guilty of 2nd degree murder in the death of coulton Boushie - CBC/Brian Treadwell
