Claresholm RCMP Release Sketch of Suspect Accused of Assaulting Town Councillor

A composite sketch has been released of the man accused of assaulting Claresholm Town Councillor Donna Courage during a home invasion January 20th.

RCMP in Claresholm have released a composite sketch of the man suspected of assaulting Town Councillor Donna Courage. Mounties says just after 9:00 pm last Saturday (Jan. 20) an unknown man knocked at the front door of a home on 51st Avenue East in Claresholm. The homeowner opened the door and the man forced his way inside and assaulted the female victim with the door while making verbal comments. The encounter was brief and the suspect fled on foot. The victim suffered some facial injuries.

The suspect male is described as:
- Caucasian
- Heavier set / tall
- 35 - 40 years old
- Clean shaven with a round face and light coloured eyes
- Wearing a black jacket and black toque
