Drugs and Weapons Seized from North Lethbridge Home; Three People Facing Charges

Daylan Strembesky, 34 from Lethbridge, Billie-Anne Paulette, 30 from Lethbridge, and Pedro Friesen, 20 from Taber, have been charged with multiple drug and weapon-related offences.

Three people have been arrested after drugs and a loaded handgun were seized from a north Lethbridge home. ALERT’s organized crime and gang team searched the home along the 400 block of 20 Street North on Monday (Feb. 26) with help from the Lethbridge Police Service. Officers say the home is less than a block away from an elementary school, and first came to their attention in December 2017 for suspected drug dealing. Drug trafficking paraphernalia was located inside, along with small quantities of methamphetamine and cannabis. Some unknown pills were also submitted to Health Canada laboratories for testing. A loaded .32-calibre handgun with various types of ammunition, other replica handguns and edged weapons were seized, as well.
