Former Lethbridge Woman to Stand Trial in Mortgage Fraud Case

A preliminary hearing for Adina Harms of Calgary was held in Provincial Court Thursday (Sept 25). She's been committed to stand trial in a mortgage fraud case involving nearly $3 million.

A former Lethbridge woman has been committed to stand trial on a number of charges including forgery and fabricating evidence. A preliminary hearing for Adina Harms of Calgary was held in Provincial Court Thursday (Sept 25). She's scheduled to be appear in Lethbridge Court of Queen's Bench on October 27th and will be arraigned on four charges including two counts of uttering a forged document, forgery and fabricating evidence. Harms has also pleaded not guilty to several counts of fraud over $5000 in a separate information relating to an alleged mortgage fraud involving nearly $3 million. - Bryan Jeannotte
