Guilty Plea In Home Invasion Case

A local man has received a conditional sentence after pleading guilty to unlawfully being in a home.

A local man has received a conditional sentence after pleading guilty to unlawfully being in a home.  33 year old Michael Bodnar entered the plea in Lethbridge Provincial Court on Thursday.  He was charged in May along with 30 year old Dallas Matson.  They went to a north side home to settle a disagreement with the person who lived there.  After they settled their differences a third man, who still hasn't been identified, stabbed the resident of the home several times.  But Bodnar and Matson had nothing to do with the stabbing.  Bodnar will serve a community sentence of six months that includes a curfew and counselling.  Matson received a similar sentence last week. - Bryan Jeannotte
