The Lethbridge Hurricanes with a big two points Sunday, beating the Red Deer Rebels 2-1 in overtime. Jordy Bellerive scored both Lethbridge goals, including the game winner 2:57 into OT. The Canes badly out shot the Rebels 44-23. The win improves their overall record to 23-21-6 on the season and also puts an end to a four game losing skid. The Hurricanes next action will be a big one Friday (Feb. 2) as the Canes host the Swift Current Broncos. It'll be the first game between the teams since the blockbuster deal at the WHL's trade deadline back on January 10th. It'll mark the return of Staurt Skinner, Giorgio Estephan, and Tanner Nagel to the ENMAX Centre. - Pat Siedlecki
