Hurricanes Drop 5-3 Decision to Blades in Saskatoon

The Saskatoon Blades jumped out to a 3-0 lead and never looked back as they beat the Hurricanes 5-3 Tuesday night.

Not the way the Lethbridge Hurricanes wanted to start a four game pre-Christmas road trip. The Canes found themselves down 3-0 after the first period and couldn't recover, falling 5-3 to the Blades in Saskatoon Tuesday night. Dylan Cozens, Calen Addision, and Jake Elmer scored for the Canes in this one. Saskatoon out shot the Hurricanes 41-31. The loss drops Lethbridge's record back to the .500 mark at 14-14-2 on the season. The Canes have now dropped their last two games. The Hurricanes will head off to Prince Albert Wednesday (Dec. 13) to play the Raiders. - Pat Siedlecki
