Hurricanes End Losing Skid, Beat Pats 6-2 in Regina

The Lethbridge Hurricanes are going into the WHL's Christmas break on a winning note. Taylor Ross scored a pair of goals at the Canes went into Regina Saturday and beat the Pats 6-2. Jake Elmer, Dylan Cozens, Ryan Bowen, and Giorgio Estphan scored the others for Lethbridge. The Canes did almost of their damage on the power play going 4 for 7 with the man advantage. The shots were fairly even in this one, slightly favouring the Hurricanes 37-35. The victory improves the Canes overall record to 15-16-2 on the season. The Hurricanes have a ten day break and don't play again until Tuesday, December 27th when they play in Medicine Hat. - Pat Siedlecki
