Stuart Skinner put on another goaltending show and Jordy Bellerive scored twice as the Lethbridge Hurricanes won their 4th game in a row.
Another outstanding game in goal by Stuart Skinner helped the Lethbridge Hurricanes to another victory. Skinner stopped 44 of 47 shots as the Canes battled back from a 3-1 deficit to beat the Portland Winterhawks 4-3 in a shoot out Tuesday night at the ENMAX Centre. Jordy Bellerive scored twice for Lethbridge while Zane Franklin added the other. The win improves the Hurricanes overall record to 11-12-1 on the season. The Hawks badly out shot the Canes 47-24, however Skinner kept Lethbridge in this one all night long. The Hurricanes next action is Friday (Dec. 1) when they host the Brandon Wheat Kings. - Pat Siedlecki
