The Lethbridge Hurricanes scored three goals in the third period, including a shorthanded marker from Jordy Bellerive as they beat the Saskatoon Blades 5-3 Friday night. Taylor Ross and Jake Elmer each scored twice to help the Canes to their 6th victory in the team's last 7 games. The Hurricanes also scoring once on the power play in this game. The improving Lethbridge's record to 32-25-6 on the season, now just two points back of Medicine Hat for first place in the WHL's Central Division. The Canes still have a game in hand on the Tigers as well. The Hurricanes continue their late season eastern road swing Saturday (Mar. 3) when they play the Raiders in Prince Albert.
