Three players each scored twice as they Hurricanes downed Red Deer 6-2 Friday night.
A big divisional win for the Lethbridge Hurricanes Friday, moving them back into the top three in the WHL's Central Division.
The Canes scored twice on the power play to beat the visiting Red Deer Rebels 6-2. Jake Leschyshyn, Nick Henry, and Igor Merezhko each scored twice for the Hurricanes. They slightly out the Rebels 29-28 on the night.
The win also ended a two game skid for the Hurricanes, improving their overall record to 26-15-4-4 on the season. That also vaults Lethbridge back into second spot in the Central.
The Canes will continue their current six game home stand Saturday (Feb. 2) when they welcome the Swift Current Broncos.
