Jewish Advocacy Group Outraged Over Reinstatement of Dr. Anthony Hall at University of Lethbridge

Jewish advocacy group, B'nai Brith Canada, says it's "outraged" that Professor Anthony Hall has been reinstated at the University of Lethbridge. Hall was suspended in October 2016 pending the outcome of an internal investigation into possible violations of the Human Rights Act. He's been accused of holding anti-Semitic views. Chief Executive Officer of B'nai Brith Canada, Michael Mostyn, says despite the setback, he expects the U of L to continue fighting anti-semitism on campus. A statement by the U of L Board of Governors says outstanding issues concerning Dr. Hall will be addressed in the context of the Faculty Handbook. The University of Lethbridge also filed a complaint against Hall with the Alberta Human Rights Commission in January of this year. -Tina Giesbrecht
