5th on 5th Youth Services launching its 22nd annual Investing in Youth Campaign. This year's theme is "Building Bright Futures" and reflects the programming the Lethbridge organization offers to support local youth. This year's private donor appreciation event is taking place at Exhibition Park with the goal of raising $30,000. The funds raised from the campaign will go toward helping offset the cost of programming at 5th on 5th. Executive Director, Trevor Brown says the organization is on a solid foundation and they're continuing to pursue new opportunities to enhance programming and services for the youth of Lethbridge and area. He notes outcomes for 5th on 5th programs last year had a 90% success rate in supporting young people access employment that meets their career goals and personal needs. Currently programs focus on different subsets of the youth population, serving youth at-risk, individuals with a self-disclosed disability and high school/post-secondary students. - Pat Siedlecki & Brian Treadwell
