City Councillors have given the green light to the London Road Redevelopment Plan. It replaces the exisiting plan from 1982.
Lethbridge City Council has finally adopted the London Road Redevelopment Plan. The process of updating the plan, which will replace the existing one from 1982, began over four years ago. Councillor Jeff Coffman says this is somewhat of an "organic document" that'll change and be modified over time. He also told Council this week he hopes this becomes a template for all neighbourhood associations. The plan provides an up-to-date, long-term vision for the London Road neighbourhood that will guide redevelopment in a way the City says balances conservation and renewal. - Pat Siedlecki
