Lethbridge City-Wide Fire Ban LIFTED; Residents Urged to Use Caution When Burning Again

Lethbridge residents can have backyard fires again after the City lifted a burning back which had been in place for more than two months.

Due to the change in the weather conditions the Fire Ban has been lifted for the City of Lethbridge. The ban had been in place since late July because extreme heat during the summer. It was only the second time in Lethbridge history that a city-wide fire ban had been put in place. The Fire Department says precaution should still be taken when having fires. Make sure to use clean dry wood and ensure your fire is completely out before you leave.
