More and more Lethbridge residents are in support of city curbside recycling services. Lethbridge College and the Citizen Society Research Lab conducted a recent survey on the issue. It found 3 out of every 5 Lethbridge residents polled, or roughly 62%, support the new plan for bi-weekly curbside waste and recycling collection. Support for the initiative is up from 50% at this time last year and 34% in 2015. A pilot program for curbside recycling is being rolled out this year with full implementation in 2019. Over 1200 randomly-selected adult Lethbridge residents were polled by phone in mid-February. - Pat Siedlecki
