A Lethbridge man charged after a two-vehicle crash a few months ago has been released from jail. Joshua Hiott, 39, is accused of dangerous driving, impaired driving, possession of stolen property and possession of break-in tools. He was arrested in mid-November after police spotted a car without a licence plate speeding along Highway 3 then turning onto Scenic Drive north where it ran a red light and crashed into another vehicle. Hiott's case came up in Lethbridge Provincial Court on Thursday (Feb. 22) where he was released on a $3000 no-cash recognizance, meaning he will only have to pay if he breaches his release conditions.
