Lethbridge Police seized a bulk container of methamphetamine as well as pre-packed foils of purple carfentanil.
A Lethbridge man is facing charges as police continue to target drug traffickers in the downtown core.
Last Thursday members of the Downtown Policing Unit and Priority Crimes Unit, who were conducting an enforcement operation, spotted a drug transaction taking place in an ally on 1st avenue south. Police seized a bulk container of 10 grams of methamphetamine and nine pre-packed foils containing purple carfentanil.
The enforcement operation also lead to the arrests of nine people wanted on outstanding warrants.
44 year old Kenneth Donald Leverington has been charged with two counts of possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking.
He's due in court April 18th.
