Lethbridge Police Issue Warning Following Two Recent Opioid Deaths

LPS are advising opioid users about a bad batch of drugs, believed to have claimed the lives of two people in less than 24 hours.

Lethbridge Police are advising opioid users to be aware of a bad batch of the drug and take precautions.

 

Over the past 24 hours police responded to two suspected overdose deaths and officers believe an extremely potent batch of opioids is in circulation on city streets.

 

Anyone using opioids is advised to do so at the Supervised Consumption Site or have Naloxone and someone with the ability to administer it, nearby.

 

Police are not releasing any further information about the two deaths.
