Lottery Tickets, Potato Chips & Candy Stolen After Break-in at Coaldale Gas Station

RCMP in Coaldale are investigating after someone broke into the Stop 'N Go early Thursday morning.

RCMP in Coaldale are investigating after someone broke into a convenience store and stole a bunch of scratch lottery tickets. Mounties say it happened just before 5:00 am Thursday (Jan. 25) at the Stop 'N Go gas station when an unknown man threw something to bust a window to get inside. Police say along with the stolen lotto tickets, he suspect walked away with several bags of potato chips and candy. The man then left in a newer model dark grey-coloured Ford F-250 or F-350 truck with two large spools of wire in the back along with some bags and boxes. The suspect is a male is described as being between 185 cm (six foot) and 195 cm (six foot three inches) tall with a slender build. The suspect was wearing cowboy boots, jeans, a sweater, baseball hat and gloves. The suspect also had a mustache. Anyone with information on this early morning break and enter, is asked to call Coaldale RCMP or Crime Stoppers. - Pat Siedlecki
