Man Accused in Downtown Lethbridge Road Rage Stabbing Pleads Not Guilty

A Lethbridge man pleading not guilty on Thursday (Mar. 14) to aggravated assault and weapon charges.

William Fick, 30, was arrested in December, when Lethbridge Police say three people had gotten into a fight following a road rage incident.

It's alleged that one man got out of his vehicle and smashed the window of another vehicle with a snow brush. When the woman inside went to confront the suspect, he tried to hit her.

That's when police allege that Fick intervened, and stabbed the other man several times before leaving.

Trial dates have not been set. Fick had been denied bail, and will be back in court March 22.

The other man in the case, 26-year old Christopher Degeorgio, is also charged with two counts of assault with a weapon and possession of a dangerous weapon. His next court date is set for March 18.
