Nanton Woman Facing Drug Charges After RCMP Traffic Stop on Highway 2

A 42 year old woman from Nanton is facing several charges after police found cocaine, meth, and ecstasy in a vehicle following a traffic stop about two weeks ago.

A woman from Nanton is facing a list of drug-related charges following a traffic stop just outside that southern Alberta town. RCMP pulled over a vehicle back on September 22nd on Highway Two just south of Nanton. In the vehicle officers found over five thousand dollars worth of drug including a large quantity of cocaine, methamphetamine, and ecstasy. 42 year old Tammy Lee Lauinger is charged with drug trafficking and drug possession. She's scheduled to appear in court in Fort Macleod November 1st. - Pat Siedlecki
