The Hurricanes earned a big single point despite a shoot kilt loss Tuesday against Regina.
A very low scoring affair Tuesday as the Regina Pats slipped by the Hurricanes 2-1 in a shoot out at the ENMAX Centre.
The game was scoreless until the third period.
Regina opened the scoring and then Lethbridge evened things up a few minutes later with a goal from Taylor Ross.
Overtime solved nothing, however the Pats would end up winning in the shoot out.
The loss drops the Hurricanes overall record to 26-15-4-5 on the season. The Canes till earned a big single point and are now three back of Edmonton for top spot in the WHL’s Central Division.
Lethbridge will continue its six game home stand on Friday (Feb. 8) when the host Moose Jaw.
