RCMP Arrest Youth After Stabbing in Vauxhall

Taber-Vauxhall RCMP officers responded to a house party in Vauxhall around 4:45 a.m. on February 24, where they found a man had been stabbed once by another man during a fight.

RCMP have charged a youth in connection to an alleged stabbing in Vauxhall. Officers responded to a house party in the community around 4:45 a.m. on February 24, where they found a man had been stabbed once by another man during a fight. The victim suffered non-life threatening injuries and was transported to Taber Hospital where he was released a short time later. The suspect took off, but Mounties located him several blocks away in an unlocked vehicle that did not belong to him. The accused cannot be named since he is under 18-years old. He has been charged with assault with a weapon and uttering threats. The accused has been released and is expected to appear in court in Taber on March 23.
