Ross Tallies Hatrick, Canes Beat Calgary Hitmen 7-4

The Lethbridge Hurricanes earning their 6th consecutive win, thanks to a natural hatrick from Taylor Ross Saturday night.

Taylor Ross had quite the night as the Lethbridge Hurricanes beat the visiting Calgary Hitmen 7-4 at the ENMAX Centre.

Ross scored three times and added one assist in the Canes final home game of the regular season. Jordy Bellerive scored twice, while Jackson Shepard and Jake Elmer added the others.

The win improved the Hurricanes overall record to 38-18-5-5 on the season, two points up on Edmonton for top spot in the Central Division. The Oil Kings, however have two games in hand on Lethbridge entering the final week of play.

The Hurricanes have been red hot as of late, having now won six games in a row.

The Canes will close out the regular season on the road with games in Red Deer and Medicine Hat (Mar. 15-16).
