Organ donor awareness, than's to the selfless choice of Lethbridge's Logan Boulet, is getting highlighted in a major, well-known sporting magazine.
A major North American sports magazine has written a cover story on Lethbridge's Logan Boulet and what is now known as "The Logan Effect".
Logan was one of a number of people killed in the Humboldt Broncos bus crash last April and his decision to donate his organs, saving a number of lives, has garnered international attention.
Sports Illustrated (SI) released its latest issue Wednesday (Mar. 6) featuring the Logan Boulet story on the cover. Logan's dad, Toby tells our radio station it's an honour to see the choice their son made has impacted so many. "We are honoured that Sports Illustrated has noticed the Logan Boulet Effect that SI has chosen to tells Logan's story to the American market. They feel strongly that organ donor awareness needs to rise in that country as well, so we're all in"
The Boulet's announced last week that Green Shirt Day, to promote organ donation in honour of Logan, will take place April 7th.
