For the second year in a row, Taber has been announced as a provincial winner for Communities in Bloom.
The Town of Taber has won a provincial award for Communities in Bloom. It's the second straight year Taber has received five blooms in the 6000 to 15,000 population category. In addition to the award, Taber was also given special mention for the Canada 150 metalwork art currently on display at the entrance to Confederation Park. Jean Holman, President of Taber Communities in Bloom says they are thrilled for this award and notes there is a very dedicated group of volunteers who work hard all year to shine a light on how beautiful Taber truly is. Taber received top marks in all categories, with the Bloom judges noting tidiness, order, and cleanliness right across the town. - Pat Siedlecki
