Three Injured After Pick-Up Truck Rear Ends Snowplow on Highway 3

Drivers are being reminded to slow down around working snowplows following a crash Friday morning east of Coaldale.

Three people were taken to hospital after a crash early Friday morning (Dec. 29) near Coaldale between a pick-up truck and a snow plow. Coaldale and District Emergency Services says it happened just after 1:00 am just east of town along Highway 3. A pick-up truck heading westbound collided with the back end of a working plow. The driver of the snowplow wasn't hurt, however all three people in the pick-up were taken to Lethbridge hospital in stable condition. - Pat Siedlecki
