31 year old Cavan Cachene will go to trial in Strathmore late this coming summer.
A Lethbridge man who's accused of armed robbery and fleeing from police in Chestermere will go to trial this summer.
31 year old Cavan Cachene was arrested in November when RCMP responded to a possible robbery at a restaurant in Chestermere. It's alleged that the suspect also brandished a gun.
The suspect fled police at high speeds down Highway 1, but he was eventually stopped and arrested. RCMP say the robbery attempt happened between people who knew each other.
Cachene's trial is set for Aug. 27th in Strathmore.
