UPDATE: Flood Cleanup Continues At Grandview Village

It'll be at least early next week before residents of a downtown seniors condo are allowed to return home.

It'll be at least early next week before residents of a downtown seniors condo are allowed to return home.  Grandview Village has been evacuated since Sunday, when a water main break caused extensive flooding to the buildings parking garage.  Condo Association President Wayne Schellhorn tells CJOC News that no suites in the building suffered water damage, but residents will have to dispose of spoiled food when they return.  The building was without power for approximately 20 hours before it was restored and the facility is still without hot water, heating and fire suppression services.  Schellhorn says 138 people are affected by the building's evacuation and adds they're coping as best they can. - Tom Roulston
