A well-known philanthropist has stepped up to help out the Interfaith Food Bank in its time of need. Officials sent out a press release Tuesday, saying they were short on a few food items as well as toys for infants and teens as they entered the last couple of days of Christmas hamper distribution. Executive Director, Danielle McIntyre says the food bank had been receiving calls all morning on Wednesday from community members eager to help out and that Cor Van Raay also heard the call and stopped by with a cheque for $25,000. McIntyre says Lethbridge's generosity never fails to amaze and is thanking everyone who helped out. -Tina Giesbrecht
