Stuart Skinner put on a goaltending clinic Saturday, stopping all 47 shots he faced as the Lethbridge Hurricanes shut out the ICED 3-0 in Cranbrook.
The Lethbridge Hurricanes are back to their winning ways. The Canes won their third straight game Saturday night, shutting out the Kootenay ICE 3-0 in Cranbrook. Ryan Vandervlis, Jordy Bellerive, and Jake Elmer scored for the Hurricanes. All three Lethbridge goals came in the second period. Stuart Skinner was incredible in goal, stopping 47 shots to earn the shut out. The ICE badly out shot the Hurricanes 47-23. The victory improves the Hurricanes overall record to 10-12-1. The Canes now return home for five of their next six games, including three straight at the ENMAX Centre. The Hurricanes welcome the Portland Winterhawks Tuesday (Nov. 28). -Pat Siedlecki
