WHL: Lethbridge Hurricanes Down Kootenay ICE 3-2

Three straight third period goals lifted the Hurricanes to a home ice win Saturday against the IC

The Hurricanes beat the Kootenay ICE for the second time this week, this time a 3-2 victory at the ENMAX Centre Saturday night.

This game was scoreless until the third period. The ICE broke the tie, however the Canes rattled off three straight goals to take the game. Logan Barlage, Dylan Cozens, and Jordy Bellerive did all the damage for the Hurricanes.

The shots were even on the night 31-31.

The victory improved the Canes record to 23-11-4-4 on the season, still one point ahead of both Red Deer and Edmonton in the Central Division.

The Hurricanes will close out a very busy week and weekend with a big game on the road in Edmonton Sunday (Jan. 13).
