The Lethbridge Hurricanes saw their losing skid hit four games after being shut out 3-0 by the Wheat Kings in Brandon Friday night. The Canes out shot the Wheaties 38-30 on the night, however just couldn't find the back of the net. Both teams went 0/3 on the power play. The game was scoreless when Brandon notched a pair of goals in the final minute of the first period, which in the end turned out to be the difference. The loss drops the Hurricanes overall record to 14-16-2 on the season. The Canes play their final game before the WHL's Christmas break Saturday (Dec. 16) when they head to Regina. - Pat Siedlecki
