Wood's Homes in Lethbridge Receives $50,000 Grant to Help with Cost of Renovations

A $50,000 grant is helping a Lethbridge youth emergency shelter complete some much needed renovations.

Some much needed renovations are on the way for Wood's Homes in Lethbridge. The youth emergency shelter receiving a $50,000 grant Wednesday morning from the Home Depot Canada Foundation. Wood's Homes Project Manager, Jeff Hansen, says the money will help hundreds of youth in need in Lethbridge and area. Specifically, the money will be used to replace doors and windows and to upgrade the exterior of the building. The grant is part of Home Depot's "Orange Door Project" which supports repairs and renovations for housing and other support services for homeless youth. -Sam Borsato
